Installing Custom Recovery in Android! (MTK Devices)

Many people ask me in facebook groups about Custom Recovery and its installation process! Today I am gonna share my knowledge about Recovery in details.

What is Recovery:
Recovery is a mode or environment in android to recover installed version & factory reset, if the phone causes freezes of behave abnormal. Every android comes with recovery installed.  It is called stock recovery. In windows view we can say this is somewhat like BIOS environment. That is  recovery is a small operating system to do emergency work. Its looks like DOS. It comes normally black screen.
To enter into recovery mode you need to Press Volume Up + Power  or Volume Down + Power button together while phone is switched off. If you want to get back just restart your phone. Then everything will be normal again.
(Using recovery mode you can easily erase phone's security lock by Factory Reset)

Types of Recovery:
There are two types-
                                   1. Stock Recovery
                                   2. Custom Recovery

Stock Recovery: Comes with your Android phone. No need to install. Actually useless. If you are an advanced user.

Custom Recovery: Created by expert users or by developers. You can also create your Custom recovery by using MTK Droid tool  (Will explain in later post)

Custom recovery has many variants: TWRP,  CWM, CTR etc

TWRP (Team Win Recovery Project):
This is very popular for its touch feature. Very easy to use. Easy to wipe and you can add multiple flashable zip file once at a time.  Mostly used in latest MTK-65xx phones like Walton Primo, Symphony phone.

CWM (ClockworkMod Recovery):
generally shortened to "CWM", is one of the most popular custom recoveries for Android-powered smartphones and tablets. Originally developed by Koushik Dutta, or "Koush", CWM lets power users do all kinds of really powerful tasks that aren't included in the stock recovery on most devices. Its not Touch enabled. Use Volume up-down for menu up-down.
Mostly used in Symphony Phone, Walton Phone in our Country.

CTR(Carliv Touch Recovery):
It is a CWM based recovery and is compatible with it. In this version I used Napstar-xda's full touch module as base. The navigation it is possible by touching the menu item. Swipe Left or Right for up-down.
